Barn Conversions: rural Worcestershire

Under Construction: 2 Counties Construction is contracted to a private individual to convert several dilapidated barns and agricultural buildings into five luxury dwellings.

Owned and farmed by the same family for more than 50 years, this site in Sinton Green, Worcestershire comprises numerous dated agricultural buildings. With planning permission granted, the client wishes to convert these into five dwellings.

The approved design maintains the utilitarian aesthetic of the buildings and blends with the rural vernacular. It is also reflective of the buildings’ historic character which date back to the 1800s. While sympathetic the architect has also elevated the scheme to exceed the demands of modern living, including the addition of EV chargers and installation of air source heat pumps.

The project is due for completion in spring 2024. Follow us on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook for regular updates.
