Each unit was unique, with two being of modern construction and three of a more traditional design.
We collaborated with Carl Timms of Visual Eyes who produced virtual tours of two of the barns. Click the links to view two of the finished barns https://virtualtour.visual-eyes.co.uk/tour/noken-farm-modern-house-build and https://virtualtour.visual-eyes.co.uk/tour/noken-farm-barn-conversion
Owned and farmed by the same family for more than 50 years, this site in Sinton Green, Worcestershire comprised numerous dated agricultural buildings. Working collaboratively with the client, we transformed the buildings into 5 high specification homes which were rented on the open market.
The approved design maintained the utilitarian aesthetic of the buildings and blended with the rural vernacular and was reflective of the buildings’ historic character which dates back to the 1800s. While sympathetic, the architect elevated the scheme to exceed the demands of modern living, including the addition of EV chargers and installation of air source heat pumps.
